Lukoil: Protect health and secure jobs

Lubricant production – adapted to the current situation – will continue at Lobau in Vienna. Lukoil currently employs over 130 people in Austria.
“On the one hand, we must do everything we can to protect the health of our employees and fellow human beings, and on the other hand, the production facilities and delivery channels must remain open in order to continue our economic system
to maintain.  This is possible in many areas – with appropriate adjustments,” says Robert Gulla, CEO Lukoil Holding and board member IV Vienna.
"As an international oil company, we are aware of our responsibility. In times of great challenges, it is particularly important for us to act calmly and decisively," explains
Alexander Matytsyn, CEO of Lukoil International GmbH.
While operations and lubricant production continue at the European headquarters in Vienna's Lobau, we have switched to home office wherever possible. Lukoil attaches great importance to this
greatest possible protection of the health of our employees. Compliance with the current requirements regarding interpersonal contacts is a matter of course. For this reason, personal contact with business partners (suppliers, transporters, etc.) is handled in accordance with these regulations. “In our production facility in Vienna’s Lobau, our employees are on site and ensure security of supply of lubricants for cars and trucks, industrial machines and agriculture at important interfaces – for the whole of Europe,” says Gulla.
