KV degree: More money for vulcanizers
The metallers had rushed ahead, things continue in the key: now the vulcanizers have also agreed on a new collective agreement.

KV degree: More money for vulcanizers
Under the chairmanship of Franz Doblhofer, the vulcanizers' collective agreement was concluded. This was increased across all wage groups, apprentice compensation and surcharges by 1.48 percent. The new collective agreement is valid from January 1st, 2021. This collective agreement is also based on the one that the metallers came about. As reported, the union and employers recently agreed on a new collective agreement for the metalworking industry more quickly than expected. Wages and salaries for workers and employees increase by 1.45 percent each.
400 employees affected
In the framework of the law, the notice periods for vulcanizers have been adapted to the legal provisions valid from January 1, 2021 (and now the transition period that will come into force later due to CoVid), with attention to be paid to the time of termination by the employer (15th or last month).
Of the 8,342 member companies of the Federal Vehicle Technology Guild, 105 companies belong to the vulcanization technology sector and employ around 400 people.
