KSR Group now also present in Switzerland
By taking over the Swiss importer JB Töffhandel, the Austrian motorcycle manufacturer and distributor is now represented with local offices in six European countries.
KSR Group now also present in Switzerland
The Austrian KSR Group, based in Gedersdorf (Krems district), is not only one of the largest manufacturer-independent two-wheeler importers in Europe, with over 60,000 vehicles sold per year, but has also been active as a two-wheeler developer and manufacturer for several years with the brands Brixton Motocycles, Malaguti and KSR Moto. A joint venture was founded with the owner of the Lambretta brand in 2017. Since then, scooters have been developed, produced and sold again.
JB Töffhandel GmbH - one of the best-known importers in Switzerland - has been selling the KSR Group brands in Switzerland and Liechtenstein since 2011.
The KSR Group - like JB Töffhandel, still a family business - took over all shares in JB Töffhandel on March 1, 2020. This will be KSR's sixth European country office after France, Italy, Spain, Belgium and the Netherlands and will operate as "KSR Switzerland" in the medium term. For the moment there are no changes, especially for loyal retailers in Switzerland. The previous owner Jakob Bruderer will continue to be in charge as managing director and Florian Blattner will continue to act as sales manager in the future.
