From September 8, 2025, Dr. Alexander Tempelmayr is the editor-in-chief of the automotive industry and the platform www.automotive.at, Peter Seipel is retiring.

Ab 8. September 2025 übernimmt Dr. Alexander Tempelmayr die Chefredaktion der KFZwirtschaft und der Plattform www.automotive.at, Peter Seipel wechselt in den Ruhestand.

Automotive industry: Change in the editor-in-chief

Dr. Alexander Tempelmayr has been working as a freelance author for the automotive industry since 2024 and is now taking on the position of editor-in-chief. As a newspaper editor, he has already gained a lot of experience with publications in the fleet segment, and as a specialist journalist he has been well known in the industry since the mid-1990s.

Peter Seipel joined the Österreichischer Wirtschaftsverlag as an editor in September 2009, and in September 2022 he took over the editor-in-chief of the traditional specialist magazine for workshops, trade and industry, the automotive industry, as well as the online portal www.automotive.at by his predecessor Hans-Jörg Bruckberger. Peter Seipel will retire in September 2025, but will continue to work as a freelance journalist in the automotive industry.
