Günther Kerle was once again unanimously elected chairman and spokesman for the Austrian automobile importers on Tuesday.

Gregor Strassl, CEO of Wolfgang Denzel Auto AG, and Wolfgang Wurm, Managing Director of Porsche Austria, were newly elected as deputies. Franz Weinberger, MAN Truck & Bus, was unanimously confirmed as spokesman for the Austrian commercial vehicle importers. Christian Pesau continues to manage the business of the automobile importers working group.
This is Günther Kerle's second term in office; he was previously managing director of Mazda Austria for many years. He currently sees the switch to the new WLTP measuring method as one of the biggest challenges for importers, as the new measuring cycle can lead to significantly higher consumption figures.
Particularly tricky: In Austria, the NoVA is based on the measurement results and therefore, like the benefit in kind, must be adjusted accordingly.
