Keba opens eMobility Store
In the Linz eMobility Store, all visitors can actively immerse themselves in the topic of charging a hybrid or electric vehicle and clarify open questions in an exchange with e-mobility experts. “In discussions with our customers, we realized that an additional advisory service on the subject of charging would be useful and we therefore decided to create such an offer in Linz with our eMobility Store,” says Christoph Knogler, CEO Keba Energy Automation. From choosing the right charging station to professional installation or the appropriate installation partners to questions about how to use your own solar power and how to charge your vehicle on the go, all areas are covered and the new “refueling” can be experienced by those interested. It is also possible to purchase selected models at charging stations and corresponding accessories directly in the store. Keba is the first manufacturer to rely exclusively on climate-neutral wallboxes.
When you buy it in the store, you can customize your wallbox - in just a few minutes, a company logo, family name, a vacation photo or a practical note about the store is printed on it. Keba also offers refurbished charging stations (refurbished wallboxes) with a focus on sustainability. The devices are prepared by Keba specialists in Linz production and go through the same test processes as new devices. "With the refurbished wallboxes, we are making an important contribution to the circular economy. Our customers benefit from the quality standard - Made in Austria - and by choosing a refurbished charging station, they can make a contribution to the conscious use of resources and thus to sustainability and climate protection," explains Christoph Knogler. In addition to advice and sales, the Keba eMobility Store will also be used for training and information events in the future. The e-mobility experts from Keba and Linz AG will cover key topics such as “Charging in multi-unit residential buildings”, “E-mobility in the hotel and catering industry” and “Essential information for car sellers”.
