Johnson Controls and the Chinese company Yanfeng Automotive Trim, part of the Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC), signed the agreement to form a global joint venture in the field of automotive interiors.

“The combination will create a strong combined company with leading market position and a foundation for sustainable, global growth,” said Alex Molinaroli, CEO of Johnson Controls. The product portfolio will include instrument panels and cockpit systems as well as door panels and center consoles.
