As of March 2021, the Hütter car dealership in Braunau am Inn is adding the Japanese manufacturer's all-wheel drive SUVs to its BMW operations. Owner Stefan Hütter: "We are pleased to be able to expand our portfolio with Subaru to include the all-wheel drive specialist. We are convinced that we can further establish and strengthen our market presence in our catchment area."
David Januschkowetz, Head of Sales and Dealer Network Development at Subaru Austria, adds: "Two points spoke strongly in favor of Hütter as a new Subaru partner. On the one hand, the enthusiasm for our products, on the other hand, the large catchment area with which we can cover a blank spot on the map. Thanks to the favorable location, we cover the Innviertel via the Mattigtal and the northern Flachgau, right up to the Kobernausserwald area and the Ried and Vöcklabruck districts “We are pleased to be able to offer Hütter’s first-class service to existing and future Subaru customers in the region.”
Both Subaru Austria and the Hütter company are holding back a bit when it comes to their goals. Due to the current situation, they do not want to give any specific figures and first give the new dealer the necessary time to establish themselves as a contact person. In any case, there is agreement about the great potential in the region, which should be fully exploited in the medium term and bring an increase in registration numbers for the Japanese four-wheel drive specialist.
