Hella on course for growth

Thomas Hiebaum, Geschäftsführer Hella Fahrzeugteile Austria GmbH.

Hella Fahrzeugteile Austria GmbH, a subsidiary of the global automotive supplier Hella, is responsible for the global business with lighting and electronic products for the off-highway sector with agricultural and construction machinery as well as mining vehicles. Managing director Thomas Hiebaum states: “The off-highway sector is currently in a radical phase of change.” The trend is moving away from high-performance individual machines towards systematically interacting complex machine groups. “We rely heavily on tailor-made, customer-specific solutions,” says Hiebaum. Hella will therefore increasingly use its expertise in automotive original equipment - for example, the intelligent Matrix LED headlights of the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class come from Hella - in the off-highway sector. To this end, the two Austrian locations in Vienna (administration/sales) and Großpetersdorf in Burgenland (production) will be closely linked to the global Hella network.
