Guardian Automotive is now Glavista

Guardian Automotive, one of the leading providers of premium automotive glass solutions, has renamed itself Glavista. The rebrand is the result of almost a year of planning and means the company - now independent of Guardian - is moving towards a new future.
The new name Glavista was first unveiled on September 23rd at a special hybrid event at the AIC Automotive Intelligence Center, a European automotive value creation center. The participants on site were joined online by others from all over Europe. In addition to a speech by Óscar Tejedor, CEO of Glavista, guests were treated to an appearance by former Formula 1 professional racing driver Mark Webber, who spoke passionately about the importance of change.
The rebranding from Guardian Automotive to Glavista follows a number of significant strategic developments for the company. Since 2020, Guardian Automotive was an independent company focused exclusively on auto glass solutions. With a new investor and significant investments in the competence center at the Llodio (Spain) site, the range has been expanded so that Glavista can now produce both laminated and tempered glass. This will enable the company to carry out an even wider range of orders for customers in the original parts market and in the spare parts business.
