Largest Öamtc location opened
In a record-breaking time, a modern building was built on an area of around 10,000 m² that offers comprehensive services to club members. The new Vienna-West base is ideally located for around 440,000 members in Vienna as well as for numerous travelers and commuters from Lower Austria. Öamtc country director Ernst Kloboucnik: “We expect around 110,000 member and customer contacts every year.” The approximately 2,700 m² test hall is equipped with over 25 state-of-the-art test stations as well as technical equipment for calibrating driver assistance systems. In addition, Wien-West has its own brake test bench for motorcycles, quads and other common two-wheelers. The base has almost 600 m² of shop and counter area, a travel agency, legal advice and a café spread over two levels. There is also a publicly accessible ePower quick charging station and an Öamtc bicycle support point available outside, where minor bicycle breakdowns can be repaired around the clock.
