The electrically supported VW petrol and diesel engines will come onto the market for the first time in the next Golf generation in June 2019. The drive system reduces consumption and emissions and at the same time provides increased dynamism and comfort with its electric boost function. As a further technical highlight, VW presented its new natural gas engine 1.5 TGI evo. The 1.5-liter direct injection engine, equipped with VTG charging, is based on the 1.5 TSI ACT BlueMotion. For Volkswagen, the new 1.5 TGI evo is an important component in a natural gas offensive.
