Effective hygiene protection for the vehicle has never been as important as it is today. So that car dealerships, paint and body shops can offer their customers more safety, AkzoNobel is launching the highly effective disinfectant OC100.

"Regardless of whether we are employees or customers, we have all become more sensitive to the risk of infection and want a safe environment. We also want to protect ourselves effectively in the vehicle, where germs and pathogens can lurk not only on visible surfaces, but also in hidden places or in the air," explains Matthias Schramm, Sales Representative AkzoNobel Austria.
Vehicle disinfection will therefore become an increasingly important service in the future. It is precisely because of this fact that AkzoNobel is launching a new product: “For this added safety, we offer our customers OC100 and thus an effective and standardized disinfection process, from vehicle acceptance to vehicle handover,” says Schramm.
The highly effective disinfectant OC100 reliably reaches all surfaces in the vehicle interior via nebulization, where it acts safely against all bacteria, viruses and fungi within minutes. At the same time, it eliminates unwanted odors and is ideal for intensive disinfection of air conditioning systems in vehicles.
Residue-free processing
Using OC100 is extremely easy and leads to the perfect result in just a few steps. All you have to do is hang a filled cold nebulizer on the rear window of the vehicle, close the doors and the disinfection can begin. After about three minutes of misting and another ten minutes of exposure time, the vehicle is seamlessly disinfected. Another plus: OC100 can be processed without leaving any residue and is also very economical. The requirement per vehicle is around 150 ml. This means that per liter of OC100 solution, up to six vehicles' interiors can be disinfected and immediately used again.
AkzoNobel has put together the OC100 starter set to get you started quickly with professional vehicle disinfection. This includes a storage canister with 5 liters of ready-to-use OC100 solution for easy dosing, a mobile nebulizer with container and a spray bottle for targeted application. Technical service information is also included in the set and guides the user clearly and quickly through the safe use of OC100.
Schramm is convinced that car dealerships and paint shops are taking an important step towards health protection and safety with OC100: "Under the current circumstances, vehicle disinfection is a necessary and advertising-effective service for both employees and customers, through which existing customers can be retained and new customers won. The question of a high-performance hygiene service will remain and can be easily addressed with OC100."
