Friedrich Frey (GF Toyota Frey) und Lisa Gutlederer (Administration Toyota Wien Nord) geben den Startschuss zum Pilotprojekt Toyota Plus.

The used car market in Austria is booming; in the last 25 years the volume has grown from 683,982 to 853,244 vehicles. Toyota is therefore introducing Toyota Plus, a new program that aims to offer the highest standards in used car purchasing. This includes up to 36 months of vehicle warranty, a mobility guarantee, a detailed 30-point check of each vehicle as well as advice and support with the evaluation, exchange, insurance and financing of a used vehicle.

Friedrich Frey, Managing Director of Toyota Frey Austria, opened the first model business with the “Toyota Plus Used Car Outlet Vienna-Nord” at Prager Straße 131. In accordance with the specifications of the international corporate identity of Toyota Plus, the colors red and blue dominate the location, which are intended to symbolize Toyota's high level of expertise in both hybrid and conventional drives.

“We want to establish the program at Toyota locations throughout Austria by the end of the year, although I would like to emphasize that every dealer’s participation is voluntary,” says Friedrich Frey. The Toyota Plus range consists of vehicles from all brands. “We would like to have a much larger range of vehicles from our own brand, but Toyota drivers seem reluctant to give their cars back,” said Frey.
