Heimo Egger will become the new managing director of the Austrian Mazda importer on April 1, 2016, succeeding Günther Kerle, who is retiring after 35 years at Mazda. Heimo Egger, a business economist, came to Mazda in 1998. From his headquarters in Klagenfurt, he built up the car and spare parts business in Southeastern Europe and increased profits for both the importer and the trading partners. Under his leadership, Mazda recently expanded into Turkey. As the new managing director, Heimo Egger will be responsible for Mazda's success with a focus on the Austrian home market - in collaboration with a total of 130 retail partners. 

Heimo Egger wird mit 1. April 2016 neuer Geschäftsführer des österreichischen Mazda Importeurs und folgt damit auf Günther Kerle, der nach 35 Jahren bei Mazda seine Pension antritt. Heimo Egger, studierter Betriebswirt, kam 1998 zu Mazda. Vom Klagenfurter Unternehmenssitz aus baute er das Geschäft mit Autos und Ersatzteilen in Südosteuropa auf und steigerte die Erträge sowohl für den Importeur, als auch für die Handelspartner. Unter seiner Leitung expandierte Mazda zuletzt sogar bis in die Türkei. Als neuer Geschäftsführer ist Heimo Egger künftig für den Mazda-Erfolg mit Fokus auf den österreichischen Heimmarkt verantwortlich – in Zusammenarbeit mit insgesamt 130 Retail-Partnern.
