Andreas Oberascher, a native of Salzburg, began his professional career at Ford in 2004. Since then, the 43-year-old has worked in a variety of functions in sales and marketing, both in Austria and in Europe. Oberascher was responsible, among other things, as Coordinator of European Sales Operations for Ford Europe in Cologne, then as Marketing Director for Ford Austria and most recently as Operations Director.
