Change of leadership at Conti

For the new quarter there will be a change in the management of Continental Reifen Austria GmbH in Wiener Neudorf. The current managing director Mirco Brodthage will become head of the South-Eastern Europe region based in Hungary and will hand over leadership to the current sales manager, Ing. Kurt Bergmüller. Managing Director Mirco Brodthage is convinced of the long-term benefits of this change for the trading partners in Austria: "I am pleased to be able to place management in the hands of Kurt Bergmüller. He has been an important part of the organization for 17 years, has successfully managed the truck business for a long time and has been overall sales manager since last year. He knows the market and customers like no other. We have now found a long-term, local management solution. The organization can thus align itself specifically and sustainably to customer needs."

Sales Manager Kurt Bergmüller: “I am fully aware of the responsibility assigned and the challenges associated with it; at the same time, it is great motivation and joy to be able to build on the structure that has been created and to continue the consistent path of customer orientation.” Along with the change in management, exchanges with neighboring Switzerland will also be strengthened. As a newly founded “Sub-Region Alps (CH/AT)” under the leadership of Daniel Freund, we will learn with and from each other and face the new requirements in the markets together, such as even greater striving for sustainability.
