The Ford Motor Company (Austria) reports an extremely strong October: After continuous increases in market share in August (9.9 percent) and September (12.6 percent), Ford's market share in Austria was 13.6 percent at the end of October 2021 - the highest value ever. 

The cumulative market share for 2021 is 8.82 percent, which corresponds to an increase of 1.1 percent compared to the previous year and is well above the targeted 7.7 percent. Ford commercial vehicles are largely responsible for this surge: at the end of October 2021, the market share was 27.9 percent or 2,282 registrations.

But Ford also wants to defy the adverse circumstances when it comes to passenger cars and achieve a remarkable result within the scope of possibilities. We currently have a cumulative market share of 5.31 percent 
on par with the previous year.
