Ford's so-called “No Touch” service ensures that protective covers are used inside the vehicle during repair and service work. The interior is then thoroughly disinfected. Personal contact between customers and workshop staff is avoided. As part of the service work, the employees in the workshops attach particular importance to hygiene and also disinfect the vehicle keys before handing them over. During the work, the steering wheel, gear knob and driver's seat are protected with disposable plastic covers, which are only removed when the vehicle is handed over to the customer. If customers receive a replacement vehicle for the duration of the service work, this will also be disinfected before handover.
