As the starting signal for the new collaboration, Assinger took delivery of his new company vehicle, a Ford Edge, from Ford-Austria Managing Director Danijel Dzihic in Vienna. “We are pleased to have won Armin Assinger as a new brand ambassador because we represent the same values,” explained Dzihic during the vehicle handover. "Our brand stands for affordable sportiness and driving fun. We see this perfectly represented by Armin Assinger, after all, despite his success as a ski racer and television favorite, he has remained a celebrity to attack."

Armin Assinger's new company vehicle is a Ford Edge ST-Line with the 2.0l TDCi engine with 210 hp including all-wheel drive and Ford PowerShift automatic transmission. Together with the EcoSport and the Kuga, the Edge forms a trio with which Ford is responding to the increasing demand for SUVs in Europe.
