The Automotive Technology Guild organized two apprentice competitions for the automotive technology and body construction technology professions.

Who demonstrates the greatest talent when it comes to dealing with workshop-ready vehicles? That was the central question of the national apprenticeship championships for automotive technology and body construction technology. Traditionally, the Viennese show particular skill in these two professional sectors.
With turbo-charged commitment and sophistication, Marcel Prchal from Denzel Erdberg catapulted himself to the top of the car body engineering competition and Filip Zagan from Porsche Inter Auto - Leopoldauer Straße achieved top placement in the automotive engineering competition. Regardless of whether they are girls or boys, the apprentices confirm their top know-how in these competitions. There is no shortage of skilled workers in sight,” says guild master Ing. Georg Ringseis happily.
Local councilor and apprentice representative for Vienna, Benjamin Schulz, was sent from the mayor's office. He emphasized the importance of teaching because he knows from his own experience how important specialist training is and he also knows it himself
followed an educational path. “It’s always great to see how these young girls and boys are committed to their profession and have the courage to take on this challenge,” adds Marko Fischer, public relations spokesman for the Vienna Vehicle Technology Guild.

The relevance of this event is also underlined by the presence and financial support of strong brands. The companies taking part are: Berner, Wirtschaftsverlag, Obereder / Castrol, Sikkens - AkzoNobel, Würth and Mc Donalds Marschalek.
Last week, 25 highly motivated apprentices took part in the exhibition of young talents at the Siegfried Marcus vocational school. Six apprentices made it to the winner's podium of the competitions, who, in addition to trophies, cash prizes, special tools, also won Moto GP tickets and much more:

Who will be state champion?
The first two in each category can take part in the Austrian state championship, which will take place again in Vienna on September 9th and 10th after many years. We hope to bring a state championship title to Vienna this year.
