Vehicle technology: New guild master for Carinthia

A generational change took place among Carinthian vehicle technicians. Michael Schnabl takes over the chairmanship from Walter Aichwalder and is the new guild master. After a decade, Aichwalder resigns from the role of guild master. Even as a young entrepreneur, he was involved in advocacy. He led the 'Junge Wirtschaft' for many years before he became an official in the guild and finally led it as guild master for 10 years. "Now it's time to take things a little easier. And with Michael Schnabl, I know the guild is in good hands," said the outgoing official.

Schnabl is the third generation to run the company in Nötsch im Gailtal, which was founded by his grandfather in 1932. After taking over in 2004, he expanded the business and has been an important employer in the community ever since. He has been involved in advocacy ever since and has been working in the guild for his fellow entrepreneurs since 2015. “I have learned a lot from Walter Aichwalder over these years and am happy to be able to continue to count on his expertise,” says the newly crowned guild master. “The vehicle technicians are a great community, and I am proud that I can support my colleagues as guild master,” says Schnabl.
