The company is thus positioning itself in its core business of supporting almost 120 specialist retailers in Austria with a new Click & Collect online offer. But of course we are also making our social contribution to curbing infection rates. However, I also see this challenging situation as a great opportunity to implement innovative projects for which the time was not yet ripe. This includes the first online shop for two-wheelers in Austria, which will now go live on April 23, 2020. The concept for this has been in the drawer for a long time, now it is precise response to the current challenges and the best possible support for our dealer network,” says Josef Faber, CEO of Faber GmbH. "With the new online shop, we are providing easy access to the most popular two-wheelers in Austria. Individual mobility and the associated driving pleasure ensure joy in life in times when the feeling of freedom is particularly suffering. Two-wheelers are a safe alternative to public transport, especially now."

Two-wheelers, especially scooters, are the ideal means of transport for the coming months and combine numerous advantages: no transfers, no waiting times like with public transport, no traffic jams and no long searches for parking spaces or parking fees like with a car. In order to make customers' hearts beat faster together with specialist retailers even in times of necessary social standstill, Faber relies on the motto "Looking forward to the joy of life". The new online shop offers 80 selected models from Piaggio, Vespa, Derbi and Gilera for the market launch.

The vehicle can be reserved on the platform. Delivery to your door will then be organized and arranged. By entering the zip code, the customer receives suggestions for the nearest partner retailers that participate in the online shop program. After selecting a specific dealer, there are options for direct delivery to the door or the customer can pick up the vehicle themselves after making an appointment in advance. The equipment, payment methods and delivery or collection details are clarified in advance by the specialist retailer with the customer in order to guarantee an individual service.
The scooters and mopeds available at the start of the online shop are Vespa GTS and Vespa Primavera in the displacement classes 50cc to 300cc, Piaggio Liberty and Piaggio Beverly in the displacement classes 125cc to 350cc and Derbi in the 50cc moped category.
