Austria's crafts and trades are pleased about a sensational haul of medals at the EuroSkills 2025 European Skills Championships in Herning (Denmark). The participants have proven that Austria's dual training makes top quality possible through the highest qualifications.

Gold for a female car mechanic for the first time: European champion is car mechanic Leonie Tieber from ÖAMTC Styria. The Styrian woman prevailed against 17 male competitors in Herning and thus achieved a female gold premiere in her profession.
Roman Keglovits-Ackerer, Federal Guild Master of Automotive Technology: "This victory fills us with great pride! We are particularly pleased that such a young, talented woman has won gold for Austria. A top achievement that has made history. It is a strong signal that the profession is attractive and forward-looking for everyone.
