First electric car from Austria

Alveri is the name of the young company from Ried im Innkreis, which has already attracted attention with two innovations for mobility since it was founded in 2019: an app that examines the driving behavior of its users to determine whether they are suitable for electric cars, and an autonomous charging robot that can independently charge electric cars in parking lots at hotels, airports and shopping centers. As part of the Alveri Future Mobility Day 2021, the two Alveri founders Ehsan and Jakob Zadmard are now presenting the purely electric vehicle concept “Falco”.

Made in Austria

The Alveri FALCO is a 4.75 meter long, purely electric station wagon with a range of 590 kilometers that was designed for use in fleets and for car sharing. The technical basis is the external platform of a large-scale manufacturer, which has a 80 kWh battery, a 250 kW charger and all-wheel drive. The dynamic combination silhouette was designed by, among others, the renowned designer Arseny Kostromin. The second life idea that Alveri wants to establish in the automotive industry with the Falco is unique in the world: the series model is designed in such a way that it can be fundamentally revised after its first product life cycle and launched on the market as a new product. Since, in addition to the hardware, all digital components also follow this principle, the amount of raw materials required for vehicle production is significantly reduced. The Alveri Falco will be built in Austria, and the first test runs with a prototype are planned for 2022. The vehicle will be integrated into its own subscription model and will cost around 490 euros per month; the purchase price should be 49,900 euros.

Combi reloaded

“With the Alveri Falco, we are reactivating the station wagon shape, which has been somewhat forgotten due to the advent of crossovers, but offers enormous advantages in everyday life,” says Ehsan Zadmard, CEO of Alveri. “We are already thinking about the second life cycle when designing it and want to create several vehicle generations on one platform.” The vehicle concept is the third pillar of Alveri's Future Mobility Plan. The company started with the Alveri app, which uses GPS tracking to analyze the driving behavior of drivers or entire company fleets and checks whether an electric vehicle can be seamlessly integrated into everyday life. The second stage is the “Alveri Charbo” developed together with Graz University of Technology and the company Arti Robots. The world's first autonomous charging robot, designed to simplify the charging of battery-powered vehicles, will go into series production in 2022.
