Roland Punzengruber (GF Hyundai Österreich), Frank Meijers (FCEV Manager HME), Seong Woong Suh (HME), Ewald Perwög (MPreis), Nikolaus Fleischhacker, Ernst Fleischhacker (Gründer Green Energy Center), Richard Neumann (Swarco), Ernst Öfner (Öfra) (v.l.).

The Green Energy Center at Technikerstrasse 1a in Innsbruck is a private initiative that wants to build bridges to a clean mobility future. The center was founded by Ernst Fleischhacker, CEO of fen-systems and advisor to the state of Tyrol on resource, energy and hydrogen strategy issues and is currently used by Hyundai, Swarco and MPreis. There is currently a fleet of 12 hydrogen vehicles in use in Austria, and this will be expanded to 35 over the next 1.5 years. All Green Energy Center partners drive Hyundai FCEVs.  “It is completely wrong and counterproductive to play battery and hydrogen cars off against each other,” says Roland Punzengruber, Managing Director of Hyundai Austria. Hyundai uses the Green Energy Center to prepare its technicians, dealers and customers for current strategies and developments, especially when dealing with the new tools.
