The head of Liqui Moly will retire next year. His last day at work falls on a special date and he leaves a personal letter to his “fellow entrepreneurs”. 

Der Chef von Liqui Moly wird kommendes Jahr in den Ruhestand wechseln. Sein letzter Arbeitstag fällt auf ein besonderes Datum und seinen "Mitunternehmern" hinterlässt er ein persönliches Schreiben.

Ernst Prost is known in the industry for his clear edge and his pithy statements. Questions get direct answers and business is done the old school way. The company never tired of emphasizing how important it was to create jobs without forgetting about making money. He helped shape, build and expand Liqui Moly with great success. 

But after 31 years at Liqui Moly, Ernst Prost is retiring after his 65th birthday on February 22, 2022. And if you the circular to his fellow entrepreneurs (as Prost likes to call his employees), you can literally feel that the decision was certainly not an easy one, but it was definitely made.

Günter Hiermaier will manage the business in the future.
