A new dress code for the workshop

Laut Hersteller ist die neue Produktserie "die wahrscheinlich bequemste Berufskleidung aller Zeiten".

Stretch has become an important issue in workwear. Employees are becoming more and more demanding when it comes to wearing comfort - work trousers in particular are in focus. CWS, a service provider for work clothing, was looking for an ideal solution for trousers with maximum freedom of movement and high load capacity. The result is a pair of trousers under the new CWS feel-good concept “220days”.

Work trousers with 4-way stretch

“We have succeeded in developing what are probably the most comfortable workwear trousers on the market, which enable wearers to work particularly comfortably,” says Michael Stielow, Head of Group Product Management Workwear at CWS. The 4-way stretch allows you to kneel or squat without the clothing pressing or restricting you. CWS uses the extremely stretchy inserts specifically above the knee, in the crotch, up to the waist and in the lower back area. The new trousers are particularly robust and durable. For even more comfort, it has knee pad pockets and numerous pocket solutions. A men's and a women's cut ensure the ideal fit of the “220days” workwear trousers.

Multifunctional work jacket

The new “220days” CWS work jacket is not just a visual eye-catcher: CWS Workwear developed it in collaboration with the fabric specialist GORE® a jacket that impresses with its combination of materials. It combines the light and breathable material of an outdoor jacket with the durability of a workwear jacket. The stand-up collar underlines the sporty design of the unisex jacket. It is available in the trendy colors black/dark gray and dark blue.

The “220days” work jacket is with GORE® WIND STOPPER® Technology equipped. It therefore protects the body from cooling down in wind and drafts. The breathable Windstopper membrane also ensures a pleasant climate.

The CWS “220days” trousers and work jacket can also be combined with other CWS collections using the mix and match principle.

Sustainability in every piece of clothing

CWS has set itself the goal of producing every piece of clothing as sustainably as possible. Environmental protection and high-tech textiles are standard at CWS Workwear.

The trousers and the front section of the jacket in the “220days” concept are made from 65 percent recycled polyester. CWS sources the 35 percent cotton from Fairtrade partners. This cotton is fairly traded and the use of pesticides and water during cultivation is lower than that of conventional cotton. This enables companies to live their sustainability strategy right down to their work clothing.

Under the new concept name “220days”, CWS Workwear is developing innovative and trendy workwear that modularly complements the rest of the CWS range. All textiles are characterized by their above-average wearing comfort.

Convenient CWS service

All parts are available as a flexible all-round service. The clothing is washed hygienically, maintained over the long term and checked for safety. If necessary, CWS repairs the textiles and replaces them if they are worn out or in the event of size changes. The service provider also handles transportation to and from the customer. If requested, CWS can affix employee names and company logos to the work clothing.
