EBV tip: Set the language correctly

When we visited Kristian Brutulovic, Lucky Car branch manager in Vienna Favoriten, he had a small problem with the EBV display: In his dashboard there were incorrect names on the menu buttons and the company name was also displayed incorrectly, but the inspection center number was correct and the company data was also correct on the assessment printouts. Text modules in the EBV or from the catalog of defects were also somewhat confused and un-German. A week earlier, Brutulovic got a new PC. The crux of the matter: When setting up the new PC, the translation function was activated. For example, the PC turned “Lucky Car” into the company name “Glücksauto”. A quick call to the EBV hotline solved the problem. The translation function was deactivated and the EBV was displayed correctly again. A little thing that you have to figure out first.
