UPDATE (April 23, 2020): For the first time since the lockdown, the §57a assessment numbers are constantly at or above pre-lockdown levels. Business in local workshops is increasing rapidly and consistently. A first small ray of hope that the situation – at least in the workshops – could recover quickly.
UPDATE (April 14, 2020): As of today, vehicle repair shops are allowed to open again. The §57a assessment figures from last week show that business is picking up again. Just in time for the tire changing season, local businesses can get started again in the workshop.
Reason for joy in local workshops: Section 57a assessments are increasing significantly again.
