The Federal Association of Vehicle Technology is launching a survey in Austria on the topic of “Do-it-yourself vehicle maintenance work – what drivers do on their vehicles themselves”.

The reason for the study is similar surveys in Great Britain, Germany, the USA and France. In Germany, for example, 46% of those surveyed said that they fill up or change the windshield fluid themselves. 45% change their windshield wiper blades themselves, and 41% said they also change their tires themselves. In order to get an idea of the current situation in Austria, the Federal Vehicle Technology Guild is conducting a mini-survey.
