Hella Gutmann is now responding to the trend towards digitalization of workshop processes with the new software product “macsDIA” for service and inspection tasks.

DIA stands for “Digital Assistant”. Just like the already well-known product mega macs PC, macsDIA is a pure software solution. After completing the annual macsDIA license, this can be used on three, five or more smartphones or tablets in the workshop at the same time. macsDIA is not a diagnostic device, but rather a software product that specifically and exclusively covers all necessary process steps for work relating to service and inspection. It is precisely in the specialization of the fast, networked tool that its particular potential lies. MacsDIA delivers everything you want to have quickly at hand for service and inspections on customer vehicles directly to the workplace - or to several workplaces at the same time. This means: no more printing out inspection plans and service data, no more multiple entries of vehicle and customer data, no spelling errors in order numbers, no more forgotten work units on the customer invoice. This includes direct access to OE-compliant digital inspection plans, manuals, data, photo and video documentation, modern communication with the customer - and even an entry in the digital OE service book after the work is done. macsDIA also provides the answer to the trend towards digital service booklets on the part of manufacturers. The OE service booklet entry can be initiated directly from the smartphone or tablet. The online service provider “oe service” then takes over the inspection data, processes the entry with the manufacturer and sends the confirmation.
Significant added value when integrated into WERBAS.blue
But the benefits of the digital service assistant can be further increased if macsDIA is integrated into a cloud-based workshop management system (WMS) such as WERBAS.blue. Then the circle closes to a completely continuous workflow, starting with customer contact, booking appointments, work recording, ordering parts within the system right through to invoicing and handing over the vehicle to the customer. The integration into WERBAS.blue has already been implemented and is available immediately. Booking macsDIA is independent of the use of a mega mac. But mega macs users with a RepairPlus license receive a discount. macsDIA has already successfully completed a one-year test phase on the Danish market and will be available for sale in Germany from April.
