The best from the land of castles
The Burgenlanders have honored their best apprentices. Die beiden Erstplatzierten in den jeweiligen Fachbereichen Karosseriebau und Kfz-Technik fahren zur Staatsmeisterschaft nach Wien.

The best from the land of castles
Apprentice body construction technicians from their 4th year of training recently took part in the state apprenticeship competition for body construction technicians at the vocational school in Mattersburg. Body shop technicians design and implement projects relating to – as the name suggests – car bodies. In addition to dimensional accuracy, the quality and visual design were also evaluated. The good performances made it difficult for the jury to evaluate, but in the end the following winners were found:
Marvin Loibl from the Walter Joszt training company, Steinberg-Dörfl, is Burgenland's best body construction technician. Second place was taken by Bastian Jöstl from the Autohaus Moser GmbH training company, Gols, and third place was taken by Diego Balga from the Autohaus Fahrzeug- und Lackcenter GmbH, Neusiedl/See.
Guild master Josef Wiener: "It's a pleasure to see such talented young people at work. I warmly congratulate the winners. Apprenticeship is the basis for a successful career, especially in the field of crafts. This applies today and will certainly also apply in the future."
The best automotive technicians
The automotive technicians have now identified their best apprentices from their 4th year of training at the vocational school in Pinkafeld. In addition to a theory test, the apprentices had to complete nine stations with practical work - from diesel engines to compressed air brakes. These tasks are based on the state championship, so that the apprentice competition is a preliminary round for the competition that will take place in Vienna in mid-September. The top two finishers will represent Burgenland at the state championship. This also applies to the two first-place finishers in body construction.
The performance of all apprentices was excellent. Ultimately, Andre Fischer from the training company AV Ott GmbH, Eisenstadt, was able to prevail, ahead of Marcel Sucher from the training company Auto Wiener GmbH & Co KG, Eltendorf, and Sven Janisch from the training company Auto Simon GesmbH, Oberwart.
Guild Master Commercial Councilor Josef Wiener congratulates the participants: "The competitions are very practical and are ideal preparation for the final exam for young people. A job is like competitive sport. Only those who can withstand the pressure to perform and the ever-increasing demands on knowledge and skills can pass."
