Denzel: 40 percent capacity

“Our workshop is currently around 40 percent full,” says Werner Kaltenböck, head of all retail operations in the Denzel Group. The sales showrooms are still closed because each one is over 400 square meters. Appointments are currently working well. For the coming week, workshop utilization will already increase to 60 percent. "We clearly feel that business is picking up again. The tire changing season also plays a role in this."

Moving new car sales completely outdoors is not an option for Kaltenböck: "We of course have an office container in our used car area, but with that we wouldn't be able to meet the 20 square meter rule per customer. Furthermore, it doesn't correspond to our shopping experience and our quality to carry out the entire consultation and sales process outdoors." Denzel offers the opportunity to buy used cars online on his website. An option that, according to Kaltenböck, is also accepted by end customers.
