Bernhard Denk, Managing Director of Kia Austria, has decided to leave Kia Austria. According to press spokesman Gilbert Haake, the reasons for his departure are personal, with "the weekly commute between Salzburg and Vienna playing a particular role. In the future, Denk will dedicate himself to a new professional challenge in the sales department of a larger Salzburg company outside the automotive industry. From now on, his agenda at Kia Austria will be handled on an interim basis by President Chongwoo Kim in close cooperation with the respective department heads.

Bernhard Denk, Managing Director von Kia Austria hat sich entschlossen, Kia Austria zu verlassen. Die Gründe für seinen Abschied liegen laut Pressesprecher Gilbert Haake im privaten Bereich, dabei spiele „vor allem das wöchentliche Pendeln zwischen Salzburg und Wien eine Rolle. Denk werde sich künftig einer neuen beruflichen Herausforderung im Vertriebsbereich eines größeren Salzburger Unternehmens außerhalb der Autobranche widmen. Seine Agenden bei Kia Austria werden ab sofort interimistisch von Präsident Chongwoo Kim in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den jeweiligen Abteilungsverantwortlichen wahrgenommen.
