DAT wins innovation award
Under the title “Now or never”, the Italian Insurtech Summit took place at the end of September. At the two-day event, the best projects of 2021 were honored in 16 categories. The organizer was the IIA, the Italian Insurtech Association, which brings together the vast majority of companies in the Italian insurance sector.
In the “Best Innovation in Claims Management” category, Deutsche Automobil Treuhand GmbH (DAT) and its subsidiary DAT Italia achieved first place. The award was given to the product FastTrackAI, which supports damage recording via image analysis using its own neural network and thus provides experts and workshops, but also insurance companies and fleet operators, with support in detecting and classifying vehicle damage.

This takes the analysis of vehicle damage to a new level and at the same time hits the nerve of the times. Many companies are currently working with artificial intelligence, but we have a real unique selling point with our product: Our artificial intelligence in FastTrackAI always creates calculations using current vehicle data and OEM repair logics.”
