Dacia Duster: Automatic goodbye

Sit: The elevated seating position ensures a good overview of traffic, the padding is comfortable, only the lateral support could be better. The fittings landscape presents no puzzles and is clearly and concisely designed. The navigation screen sits a bit low and distracts your eye from the traffic for an unnecessarily long time. The materials in the interior are inexpensive, but attractively designed and enhanced with decorative elements.
Drive: The power of the 110 hp diesel engine is always sufficient in everyday life, the chassis is excellently tuned - not too hard, not too soft. The dual clutch transmission takes some getting used to. When starting off, it bites surprisingly quickly and causes many an involuntary cavalier start. Be careful, especially when parking. While driving, the gears change smoothly and keep the engine in the ideal speed range.
Load:
The trunk is easily accessible and holds a decent 475 to 1,636 liters of luggage. On the other hand, the space available for passengers in the rear seats is rather limited.
Conclusion: A robust everyday companion in a casual off-road outfit that has increased comfort with a dual clutch transmission. Although it is still cheaper than the competition in the segment, the Duster is no longer a bargain.
*Includes additional equipment: Rear electric windows, navigation maps for Eastern Europe, rear parking aid with reversing camera, spare wheel (up to 80 km/h), heated front seats, metallic titanium gray paint.
