CP Auto takes over Frey Autohaus

Four car dealerships with the brands BMW, Mini, Jaguar and Land Rover in Salzburg, Hallwang, St. Veit im Pongau and Villach were taken over. The land and real estate that is rented long-term by CP Auto, as well as the service business with the Citroën brand, remain the property of Elisabeth Frey and Michaela Strasser-Frey. The brand identity, naming and management of the AutoFrey Group will remain the same. The operational start in the new constellation is planned for January 1, 2016. The reasons for the sale were, among other things, the future necessary investments as well as the international concentration process on larger dealer groups.  Kurt Egloff, CEO of BMW Austria: "With CP Auto GmbH we are gaining an experienced partner who will complement our very successful and professional dealer network well. And Peter Modelhart, Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover Austria GmbH: "We would like to thank Elisabeth and Michaela Frey for the long, successful, almost friendly collaboration - and see the new partner as a very good choice."
