This morning we asked Mirco Brodthage, Managing Director of Continental Austria, what the current delivery situation at Continental looks like: "Our supply chain is currently open. When our customers and partners are open, we can deliver ordered goods." The Continental office had already adjusted to more flexible working models in advance and was therefore well positioned. “The majority of employees are working from home, but we can continue to work smoothly,” says Brodthage.
What changes will the current crisis have on the tire business? "It's difficult to estimate today. It will definitely have an effect - the replacement season may be postponed. I believe that end customers currently have other concerns than when their tires will be replaced."
