Clary ist derzeit noch Vorsitzender und Sprecher des Verbandes der Automobilimporteure in der Industriellenvereinigung, eine Position, die er erstmals im Jahr 2000 inne hatte. Sein Nachfolger steht noch nicht fest. Als ehemaliger Geschäftsführer von BMW Austria war der promovierte Jurist bis 2008 verantwortlich für das BMW Nordeuropa Geschäft.
