Castrol replaces Elf
BP, Castrol and the Renault F1 Team are extending their partnership in Formal 1 for a further two years until the end of 2024. Plus: Groupe Renault is choosing Castrol as its global partner for aftersales and workshop filling of engine oil and lubricants from January 1, 2020. This ends the supply partnership with Elf Motoröl after 50 years.
Castrol replaces Elf
BP and Castrol are extending their collaboration with the Renault F1 Team until 2024, supplying state-of-the-art fuels, engine, transmission and hydraulic oils, greases and brake fluids as well as various high-performance industrial lubricants for the team's technical centers in Enstone, UK (chassis construction) and Viry-Châtillon, France (engine construction). BP and Castrol play an important role in supporting the Renault F1 Team with the new Formula 1 rules that will apply from 2021. Groupe Renault has selected Castrol as its global partner for aftersales and workshop filling of engine oil and lubricants from January 1, 2020. A new range of products co-branded between Renault and Castrol will be distributed to Renault dealers.
