Carmunication is positioning itself for the future
Fair access to live vehicle data, that is the goal of Carmunication. For the first time in the history of the independent association, this year's general meeting was held online due to the current restrictions. Even in these difficult circumstances, there have been a number of significant developments from which members will benefit. Carmunication currently consists of 38 members who help shape future legislation on access to live vehicle data.
To replace and complement regular Carmunication events, webinars will be held on a range of topics starting later this month. Both members and interested parties will receive the latest information on key developments around live vehicle data. Experts from among Carmunication members will share their knowledge and best practices with our friends and partners on an equal level.
In order to coordinate these new activities, the General Assembly confirmed the appointment of Ingo Sachse as the association's new Chief Operations Officer.
"We are very happy to be able to continue and expand our activities to support our members. With our new communication tools and online events, we can offer our members real added value. We hope to attract new club members and achieve fair access to live vehicle data," summarizes Walter Birner at the general meeting.
Ingo Sachse, new COO of Carmunication: "We want our members to emerge stronger from this current crisis. That's why we have improved our internal organizational structure and started to be much more active in spreading the knowledge about live vehicle data and the important questions surrounding this data.
