CarGarantie expands its board of directors

Anna Biesenthal, previously part of the extended management of CG Car-Garantie Versicherungs-AG (CarGarantie) as Chief Information Officer, will be appointed to the Executive Board by the Supervisory Board on June 1, 2020. As Head of Operations and IT (COO and CIO), she forms the CarGarantie board team together with Chairman of the Board Marcus Söldner and Wolfgang Bach, Board Member for Finance and General Administration.

Anna Biesenthal joined CarGarantie's management from the parent company Gothaer in the summer of 2019 and was initially responsible for IT, processes and project management. She previously held various positions at Gothaer, including board member of Gothaer Poland, chief operations officer and chief information officer. From 2016 until she moved to CarGarantie, as Managing Director of Gothaer Systems GmbH, she was responsible for the optimization and renewal of IT processes, the substantial professionalization of IT security and the reorganization of the company towards an agile transformation. In the future, her focus on the CarGarantie board will be on the areas of IT transformation and operations, where she will contribute her great expertise. At CarGarantie, Ms. Biesenthal will focus on the progressive digitalization of both internal and customer-oriented processes, with the aim of further optimizing service quality.
