With the new Bridgestone Blizzak LM005, the world market leader in the tire and rubber industry has another premium winter tire in its range that knows how to impress. The Blizzak LM005 was recently rated “exemplary” in the big winter super test by “Auto Bild” and was named “winter specialist with well-balanced performance at the highest level” in the “Auto Bild allrad” winter tire test. Auto Bild allrad awarded top marks for traction, braking and handling on the one hand, and on the other hand the “high aquaplaning resistance” and “low rolling resistance” were highlighted.

The magazines “auto motor und sport” and “unternehmenauto” also awarded the LM005 an overall rating of “very good” in their 2019 winter tire test, making it one of the best-rated tires in the test. The professionals from “auto motor und sport” particularly praise the tire as “very precise on snow-covered and wet roads” and certify “the shortest braking distance on wet and snowy roads”. And “company car” also particularly emphasizes the wet performance and rewards it with the highest number of points. The LM005 also received a strong 9.0 out of 10 possible points in the “environmental” rating and, with its low rolling resistance and low tire and road noise, is one of the two front runners in this category.
