Bridgestone buys tire management solution

Bridgestone today announced the acquisition of the iTrack Solutions business from UK-based Transense Technologies PLC. iTrack is a global leading provider of tire management solutions for the commercial vehicle (OTR) sector. The company offers a comprehensive tire pressure monitoring system designed specifically for OTR tires. In addition to controlling tire temperature and pressure, the iTrack management platform offers many other features, such as custom geofence options and speed alerts. This helps OTR customers optimize their operations and increase productivity and profitability.

Bridgestone concluded the joint cooperation agreement with Transense in August 2019. Since then, OTR customers have been referred to the iTrack solution platform. The response to the tire management platform has been consistently positive. Bridgestone will continue to expand the offering and fully integrate the solution into its portfolio. To ensure a seamless transition, all iTrack Solutions employees will move to Bridgestone as part of the acquisition.
