This year, Bridgestone is once again supporting the election of the “German Car of the Year 2026”, one of the most prestigious automobile awards in Europe, as a partner.

The Dacia Bigster won in the budget category and the Škoda Elroq was convincing in the compact segment. The premium title went to the Hyundai Ioniq 9, while the Cadillac Vistiq prevailed in the Luxury class. The winner in the performance category was the Lucid Air Sapphire. The overall winner of the competition will be announced on November 17, 2025. The automotive industry is looking forward to the final decision, which is seen as an indicator of innovative strength, design and technology.
