The Italian brake specialist had to cope with a small decline in sales in the 2019 financial year. The Chairman comments on the results.

“Brembo’s operating results for the 2019 financial year confirmed today demonstrate that our company was able to successfully implement its long-term strategy in a particularly challenging market environment that has impacted the global automotive industry throughout the year. Despite oneslight decline in salesCompared to 2018 results, Brembo managed to outperform the average of its reference market and defend its strong margin.
In the business sectorsMotorcycle, commercial vehicles and racingthey couldresults are increased. There we were able to successfully serve the constantly increasing market demand for excellence, quality and design with an integrated portfolio of innovations.
Despite everything, he remainsAutomotive market of great uncertaintyand significant fluctuationsembossed– not least due to the global spread of the corona virus. We are following developments here very closely and with the greatest attention. We have taken control and prevention measures at all Brembo production sites to protect the staff working there, but also the local population, in coordination with the authorities. Nevertheless, thanks to our innovative strength, our production quality, which is excellent compared to the industry, and the daily commitment of our employees to serve our customers, we will be able to increase the positioning of our company in terms of strategy and competitiveness in all markets that are relevant to us.”
