Brembo takes over SBS Friction

Brembohas an agreement on thecomplete capital takeover of SBS Friction A/Ssigned. The Danish oneCompany develops and producesinnovative and environmentally friendlyBrake padsmade from sintered and organic materialsfor motorcycles. 
The acquisition, with particular attention to ecological focus, allows the integration of brake pads, a strategically important component, into Brembo's current product range. This also allows the company to further consolidate its leadership role in the motorcycle sector. The acquisition is in line with Brembo's new mission to become a respected solutions provider to meet the changing paradigms of sustainable mobility and provide an optimal driving experience.
TheTransaction sees consideration of224 million Danish kroner, whatapproximately 30 million euroswhich are paid out of available cash flow and are subject to the usual adjustment mechanisms for corresponding transactions. The company value is 300 million Danish kroner, i.e. around 40.3 million euros. The final agreement is expected in the first quarter of 2021.
