Brembo reports third quarter figures
Company boss Alberto Bombassei comments on the third quarter as follows:
"The business figures for the third quarter of 2020 show that our company was able to quickly variabilize a large part of its costs and counteract the negative effects in its market environment. In the third quarter, we managed to take advantage of the recovery opportunities that presented themselves in our markets by reacting very quickly to the improved demand from our customers and were therefore able to achieve a result that can be described as pleasing despite a slight decline compared to 2019. The third quarter helped “We are trying to offset the negative effects of the first half of the financial year, a year that is now coming to an end with the fourth quarter, which itself is characterized by uncertainty.”
Result from Q3 2020:
- Umsatz: -5,9 Prozent im Vergleich zu Q3 2019
- EBITDA: 123,8 Mio. Euro (EBITDA-Marge: 20,3 Prozent)
- EBIT: 71,8 Mio. Euro (EBIT-Marge: 11,8 Prozent)
- Nettogewinn: 51,7 Mio. Euro (8,5 Prozent vom Umsatz)
- Nettoverbindlichkeiten: 505,7 Mio. Euro (320,1 Mio. € ohne Effekte aus IFRS 16), um 91,8 Mio. Euro verbessert gegenüber 30. Juni 2020
Overall result for the September 30, 2020:
- Umsatz: 1.559,9 Mio. Euro (minus 20,9 Prozent im Vergleich zum Vorjahr)
- EBITDA: 267,1 Mio. Euro (EBITDA-Marge: 17,1 Prozent)
- EBIT: 110,6 Mio. Euro (EBIT-Marge: 7,1 Prozent)
- Nettoinvestitionen: 112,0 Mio. Euro
