Industry meeting in Carinthia
The Carinthian Chamber of Commerce invites you to an industry meeting with representatives from master car repair shops and the vehicle trade. Psychotherapist Gerti Senger explains why we won't want to do without a car in the future either.

Industry meeting in Carinthia
At the beginning of November, around 200 car dealers, workshop owners, master mechanics and workshop suppliers accepted the Chamber of Commerce's invitation to the Carinthian Motor Vehicle Industry Day 2019. Raimund Haberl, WKK trade division chairman, draws a brief balance of the first three quarters of this year, which is certainly impressive. The motor vehicle trade has so far recorded an increase of 1.5 percent compared to the previous year. Klaus Kronlechner from the trade and craft division at WKK is also satisfied. “Our automotive technicians are happy about full order books, we also have almost no unemployed people and the number of apprentices is increasing.” Panel lobbyist Hubert Aichlseder speaks of major changes in retail that will turn traditional business models on their heads in the next five years. “Manufacturers are bringing more and more vehicles onto the market through tied dealers – that hurts us,” complains Aichlseder. In his lecture, guild master Walter Aichwalder appeals to companies to commit themselves even more to apprentice training than before. Rainer Wimmer, Head of Automotive Services at the ÖWV, uses the Carinthian industry meeting to present the business publisher's wide range of software solutions, including EBV and a catalog of defects. The highlight and conclusion of the event is the lecture by psychotherapist and author Gerti Senger on the topic of “auto-eroticism”. According to the “sexpert’s” observations, the metal vehicle has always fulfilled people’s unconscious desires for freedom, visibility and power.
